Ubisoft appears to be working on something special for the Nintendo NX, according to a recent interview with Ubisoft European boss, Alain Corre.
Corre spoke to Games Informer about how impressed he is with Nintendo’s brands, and that the company has more in store for the NX:
We announced that we’re developing Just Dance for NX and we have other surprises that we will announce later. We also believe Nintendo has the power to reinvent the way families are playing.
Nintendo is a fantastic powerhouse of brands that are really cherished by a lot of fans and families… I am still impressed by the reoccurrence of success and appetite even today for the Nintendo franchises on the current system.
Last month, Ubisoft declared its support for the NX, revealing their first official game to be released for the system and generally praising Nintendo as partners. The company were one of the main supporters of the Wii U upon launch, so it’s not a huge surprise that they’re prepared to support Nintendo. Still, it’s comforting to know that Ubisoft is still behind Nintendo despite the Wii U’s lackluster sales.
