Wow I wish i knew about this a lot earlier!
The future of gaming is coming to Walmart when the Nintendo 3DS, the first-ever glasses-free 3D handheld gaming device, arrives at all Walmart stores and Walmart.com on March 27.
Walmart will offer a special program that allows customers to trade in their used Nintendo DS model and receive a credit up to $100 towards the purchase of a new 3DS. The offer is available in Walmart stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and South Carolina. The credit amount will be based on the model traded in* and customers can trade in up to two old DS units at a time for a total maximum credit of $200. The program, which will take place in the electronics department at participating Walmart stores, will kick off on March 27 and run through April 30 or while supplies last.
Walmart.com will also offer the Nintendo 3DS and an assortment of compatible games through its Site to Store and Pick Up Today services. Site to Store allows customers to purchase items like the Nintendo 3DS at Walmart.com and have them shipped for free to a local Walmart store.
