This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, Jemma, Kirk and Trev discuss all things Nintendo, from console release dates to Game Awards, and everything in between.

Last week, we delved into the world of Donkey Kong Country at Super Nintendo World in Japan. This week, we celebrate the anniversaries of several Nintendo consoles, from the Wii U to the DS. This leads us to discuss a trend of November releases. The Wii, GameCube, and even the DS all had November releases. Yet the Switch came out in March – what does this mean for the Switch successor?

We’re getting to the end of the year, meaning it’s time to celebrate the games of the past 12 months. Nominees for the 2024 Game Awards have been listed, and we take a look at which Nitnendo games are in the running.

A new soundtrack has joined the Nintendo Music collection. This week’s audio addition is F-Zero X, a fast-paced racing soundtrack to keep you company while you do something very active.

We’re also playing a lot of fun games this week, from the slinky cat-based adventure of Stray to the retro RPG stylings of Journey to Kreisia. We’d also love to know what you’re playing this week, so let us know!
