Wii U selling 1.2 games per console
According to Longbow Research’s James Hardiman, who got the information from NPD, the Wii U is seeing about a 1.2 attache rate with games. That means consumers of the Wii U are only picking up one other game besides the system.
According to the report this low attach rate could have something to do with Nintendo Land being bundled into the system. I also wonder if this take in consideration digitally downloaded full retail games?
This honestly seems a little low for me but the reasoning behind it isn’t to crazy. All I know is the PN staff probably skews these numbers a little with our game purchases.

They also don’t take into account the games people buy AFTER they purchase the system. Miiverse motivates a lot of people into buying more games.
