Worms: A Space Oddity Goes Offline

According to IGN, Worms: A Space Oddity will not have online mulitplayer as previously promised by Team17.  This is especially sad because Worms seems like a perfect fit to play online.  Despite promising online multiplayer and downloadable content the game will ship with neither.  In the end this might be a reason why some gamers might stay away from this one.
