Nintendo Online store down until May 9th
Nintendo has announced maintenance for the Nintendo’s online store and for Club Nintendo orders. The services will be restore on May 9th and 13th respectfully.
From the Nintendo online store website.
Nintendo Online Store is temporarily unavailable until May 9, 2014, as we upgrade our systems. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to serving you again soon.
From Club Nintendo.
Orders for physical rewards are currently closed while we update our systems. But there’s good news: We’ll be accepting orders again starting May 13. We’ve also got great digital games that you can download instantly, so check ’em out.
I have to point out that 10 days of downtime to upgrade a store seems a little long. But, what do I know?

I hope this ultimately improves Club Nintendo and snaps it out of its downward spiral. I may have to nab F-Zero X.

Must be only in the US. Maybe changes will happen there and roll out to other regions. 10 days seems a long time!

Interesting….they could be changing the way Club Nintendo works. I’ll be interested to see what happens.
