To coincide with the release of Star Fox Zero for Wii U, Nintendo has prepared a very special animated feature.

Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins is a new animated short to be broadcast worldwide on April 20 (3 PM P.T.), featuring characters from the Star Fox franchise. If you need more reason to get excited, you’ll be pleased to know that the short was produced in collaboration with none other than Shigeru Miyamoto, and will be followed immediately by a special Nintendo Treehouse event featuring the new Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard games.

19th April, 2016 – To celebrate the upcoming launch of Star Fox Zero for Wii U on April 23, join Nintendo for the live-streamed world premiere of the Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins animated short on April 20 at 3pm PT. This special broadcast can be viewed with US English voice-overs all around the world at http://live.nintendo.com/.

Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins was produced in collaboration with Shigeru Miyamoto, Production I.G and WIT STUDIO, and stars the beloved characters from Star Fox Zero.

Immediately following the animated short there’ll be a special Nintendo Treehouse: Live featuring Star Fox Zero & Star Fox Guard.

Tune in live on Thursday morning for Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins, the first-ever animated short based on the Star Fox games and characters.
