Pixart Imaging (PXI) will show off their new MEMS chips (not sure what that is, but it has something to do with inferred) next week to Nintendo.

PXI is already the infrared sensor supplier of Nintendo Wii’s joystick and the company has been actively developing its own MEMS chips for several years since the average selling price (ASP) and gross margins of MEMS chips are higher than infrared sensors, according to market sources.

Rumor has it that Pixart has plans to make these new inferred chips for Ninendo’s next system as well.
