Hi my name is Justin. J Money is a nickname I've had for years. I am the Assistant Editor for PureNintendo.com and writer for Pure Nintendo Magazine. I love racing/driving games; my favorite games in the racing genre come from the Need For Speed franchise. I also have, what some would probably call, an unhealthy obsession with zombies. Besides video games, I also like movies, music, Magic: The Gathering and cars. My favorite car...the Nissan 370Z.
NNID: J-Money / 3DS Friend Code: 3351-4842-1563 / Favorite DS Game: Picross 3D / Favorite 3DS Game: Nano Assault / Favorite Wii Game: Monster Hunter Tri / Favorite Wii U Game: Need For Speed: Most Wanted U
My love of video games started with the Nintendo GameCube. My favorite franchises are The Legend of Zelda and the Professor Layton series. I'm currently in the process of conquering every Zelda game in the series but my true, geeky loves are Star Trek and DC Comics. NNID: purely_katie
Steve Jobs and Shigeru Miyamoto came to me in a vision when I was a young child and showed me the light. Apple and Nintendo are my life now, and my life is awesome! Besides being a Pure Nintendo editor, I also run the Apple news blog MacDaddyNews.com. My favorite franchise is Zelda, and Link's Awakening is my favorite game in the series. I can destroy anyone in NBA Jam for the SNES....blindfolded. Okay, maybe not blindfolded, but I'm up for the challenge. NNID: purely_eli
Alex fell in love with gaming by the time he was old enough to pick up a controller. Growing up with a steady diet of NES, SNES, and Atari 2600 games, Alex quickly became a fan of all things Nintendo. He began amassing a gaming collection, (Including boxed and complete versions of every Legend of Zelda title made) over the years. After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor's degree in Game Design, he found Pure Nintendo by chance, and began helping out in June 2012. He has been writing articles and loving it ever since!
Contributor to Pure Nintendo.
From the first Nintendo Entertainment System, Matt has been a fan of the Japanese gaming company. Matt first made contact with the Pure Nintendo Crew via an interview about Pure Nintendo's charity marathon for Child's Play Charity in 2012.
Matt joined up with PNM in November 2012.
Favorite Game: Super Mario RPG
Hi there! Nintendo was the company that introduced me to the gaming world and will always be my personal favorite. My favorite franchise is The Legend of Zelda and my favorite game would have to be Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars. I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a major in Journalism. Video Games are both a hobby and a passion to me, as I feel they are another medium of story telling.
Hello! My name is Kaelyn, and I LOVE Nintendo! I can't remember a time when I didn't play video games. Growing up with 3 older brothers it was hard to avoid them. Nintendo was always something that put me in a good mood, or taken me away when I needed a break from reality. My favorite series is the Legend of Zelda! I've always been into drawing Nintendo characters and seeing other people's video game themed art. I have a dream of one day meeting the great Shigeru Miyamoto, and one day working for Nintendo (Don't we all).
Even though I was first introduced to video games with the Atari 2600 (I feel old) it was Nintendo that turned me into a lifelong fan. From the magical NES era when Nintendo was the face of gaming, through today with the 3DS, Wii U (and everything in between) Nintendo’s always entertained me with their innovative, and just plain fun games! Writing for Pure Nintendo has allowed me to combine a fondness for journalism with my love of gaming. I’ve especially enjoyed building working relationships with smaller and independent developers and studios.
