Wow, 2 years already! It just seemed like yesterday I was hearing the dream from Justin, about some Nintendo site he was doing, I will be honest, I thought he was crazy. It has been a great 2nd year for us at purenintendo; We have had a site redesign and rename. (niwifi.net) Two new conributors to the site, Kevin and Ben. We have also grown by leaps and bounds, and more leaps and bounds. This could not be at all possible it if wasn’t for you, our readers. You are the best and your continued support keeps us going on those down days.  Thanks a trillion!! I would also like to send out a thank you to all of our PR. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to do what we do, to provide are readers with the most up-to-date news about all things Nintendo. Thanks again everyone for another good year, and here to many more.

For those long time purenintendo/niwifi.net readers. You may remember a video that was posted a while ago (Dec 16th) about a human Tetris game show in Japan. The network that brings you, Prison Break, The Simpsons, and Family Guy, will now bring you an American version of Human Tetris. For the American version will add cash prizes a more dramatic fall into the water or a different substance.

In about 30 min, we will be heading to our local Gamestop for the Brawl Tourney. When we get back we would love to play anyone who wants to. The forums don’t seem to be working, problems with the transfer from niwifi.net; so in the comments just place your friend code and when you would like to play. I will be keeping an eye on the comments all day tomorrow, so we all can communicate through the comments. Once we get our forums back up it will be easier, sorry for the inconvenience.

Well, the day has finally arrived! niwifi.net is now purenintendo.com in an effort to better serve the growing Nintendo fanbase. We will be continuing to update the site throughout the week with more features, so stay tuned for those updates. There are still a few things to be done that I couldn’t test unless the site was live, so here is a “to do” list of items to be added very soon:

• Design more header images
• Randomize header images
• Add recent comments
• Update forums
• Take a nap
• Update plugins
• Take another nap
• Our second podcast (lol)
