Nintendo are ramping up their marketing in anticipation of the release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, which lands on the Wii U in less than two weeks. One of Nintendo’s promotional tools is a new series of retrospective videos.

In the first episode, we hear from the production team behind the original Wii/GameCube title, including Eiji Aonuma. The developers discuss the pressures of developing the game, and how the positive reception the 2004 E3 crowd helped motivate them despite tight deadlines. They also compare the realistic style of the game to the cartoony style of Wind Waker, and the way fans responded to that.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD lands on the Wii U on March 4 in Europe and the US, and March 5 in Australia.
