The fun begins with a special character distribution event taking place at participating GameStop locations. Pokémon fans can now head to GameStop (or EB Games in Canada and Australia) and receive a free code card while supplies last to receive a Lv. 100 Mew for their Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire video game. At GameStop, Mew fans can also find the Pokémon TCG: Mythical Pokémon Collection—Mew, which includes two special Pokémon TCG: Generations booster packs and a collectible Mew pin. A new Mew plush and a Clip ’n’ Carry Poké Ball with two-inch Mew figure from TOMY International will also be available.

Mew can be seen battling the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo in the digitally remastered Pokémon: The First Movie, available for download on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon. The movie will also be available on Pokémon TV for two weeks during the month of February. Pokémon TV is available on Pokémon.com and the Pokémon TV app is available on the App Store, Google Play, Roku, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire platforms.

A 48-page interactive digital reader titled A Pokémon Super Story! Pokémon: The First Movie is available for download and can be viewed on any device that supports iBooks, including Mac, iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.

More details can be found at Pokemon.com/20. Fans visiting the site throughout the year will find information about monthly Mythical Pokémon character distributions, retail events, special products, messages from some of Pokémon’s biggest fans, and the upcoming Pokémon Photo Booth app.
