After ten long years, Marvel’s superheroes are reuniting for the latest instalment in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series. Nintendo and Marvel are bringing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on July 19.
In Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, you’ll assemble your ultimate team of Marvel superheroes from a huge cast. The all-star roster includes the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and X-Men.
Unsurprisingly, this means we’ll be able to combine the talents of Iron Man, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Hulk, Black Panther and Captain America. Newly announced heroes have us more excited, with the likes of Deadpool, Spider-Gwen and Doctor Strange joining the fray, each with his or her own special moves or abilities.
The story follows your personally selected group of superheroes as they race across the Mavel Universe to find the Infinity Stones before Thanos and his Black Order find them. Naturally, Thanos has a plan to unleash cosmic chaos with the stones, and we don’t want a repeat of Infinity War now, do we?
The game supports up to four players through local or online co-op, with the ability to drop in and out at any time.
The game comes ten years after Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, which was available on the Nintendo DS and Wii systems. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will hit stores and the Nintendo eShop on July 19.
