Weekly VC Predictions
It’s that time of week again….a time for us to guess away at Nintendo’s blast from the past. We have some great games in our prediction list this week. Let’s take a look…
Silent Debuggers
Hudson has confirmed that Silent Debuggers will be released this week.
Super Turrican
Paper Mario
The N64 classic will certainly be released to the Virtual Console eventually….quite possibly sooner rather than later. First PM gets a mention in Nintendo Power magazine as being a game to hit the VC in July. Then F-Zero X was released, clearing the way for PM to be the next N64 game. Finally, in the past week both Europe AND Japan have gotten Paper Mario on their respective Virtual Consoles. We are certain that it is the next N64 game coming down the pike, and all signs point to a July 16th release.
Teenage Mutant Turtles II
TMNT II:The Arcade Game is an NES game that we have known to be coming to the Virtual Console for some time now. It was rated by the ESRB a few months ago, and since then we have just been sitting here waiting for that multiplayer ninja action. Could this be the week that the wait ends? I certainly hope so.
Mega Man
Why don’t we have a Mega Man game on the VC yet? Aside from not having a Metroid title on there, Mega Man is the biggest franchise that is still missing from the Virtual Console. It has been released in other regions, and it is ESRB rated, so the wait shouldn’t be too much longer now.
