Details from last night’s Japanese Nintendo Direct (07/2/13)
Last night Nintendo released a surprise Japanese Nintendo Direct that announced a few new features for the Japanese market. Below are some of the highlights from the Direct. You can also watch the Direct for yourselves HERE.
- “Chibi Robo Photography” announced ,for the 3DS eShop. Title can be purchased today for 1500 yen. ($15) Gameplay mechanics focus on 3DS camera and taking real life pictures of objects in the world. Trailer HERE
- Flipnote Studio has been delayed until July 24th.
- Video service YNN will be coming to the Wii U in August.
- Watch TV on the GamePad
- Bandai Channel announced for Japan, August. Offers a wide range of Anime programming
- Demae-can food delivery service comes late July
- Add 5,000 or 10,000 yen to the eShop by 9:59 am 7/10, get 500 or 1000 yen credit, respectively.
- Early Summer title adoption. Get 10% off during the lauch week of upcoming Nintendo titles. Pikmin 3 on 7/13, Lego City Undercover 7/25, Wonderful 101 8/24. Only for the eShop.
