Playtonic Games latest creation, Yooka-Laylee, seems to be adding a ghostly cast of characters to the videogames roster. According to Playtonic Games’ website, these characters are known as The Ghost Writers and happen to be responsible for scribing the videogame’s book worlds. This group of ghoulies will be hidden throughout Yooka-Laylee and will provide rewards to those who find them.
As of today, May 29, Yooka-Laylee currently possesses 56 thousand backers via Kickstarter, which roughly translates to 2 Million dollars in donated funds towards the videogames campaign.
Yooka-Laylee was officially announced on May 1 and is currently under the development of those formerly of Rare. These are the same individuals who brought us Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie and Donkey Kong 64.
