By "thoroughly modern" they mean Zelda-like.

You like knights, you like quests, but maybe you’re tired of all that retro-action from indie devs? Well, then you may want to embark on A Knight’s Quest this fall.

Billed as being “Funny, fresh and genuinely breathtaking…” A Knight’s Quest will have players dispatching enemies, rail-grinding across huge chasms, wall-running over perilous traps, and solving elemental puzzles to aid a kind-hearted but clumsy adventurer named Rusty. This fellow accidentally starts a chain reaction that could destroy his world, and it’s up to you to help him set things to right.

Our hero begins his adventure with just a trusty sword and basic shield, but he’ll soon unlock ‘Spirit Powers’ – spectacular abilities which have the power to transform not only himself, but also the world around him. At the tap of a button, he can harness the powers of Fire, Ice and Time to devastating effect, using them to conquer enemies in battle or solve environmental challenges.

The adventure will take Rusty from the desert town of Zameris to the ice-laden Peaky Peaks and onto the Cursed Swamp and beyond. Along the way, he’ll encounter a colorful cast of memorable characters and enemies/bosses which bring the world to life.

Throughout its 30-hour play time, A Knight’s Quest will remain focused on action and adventure.

Combat is fast and fluid, and platforming a dream, with Rusty’s repertoire of acrobatic moves effortless to pull off. Playing the hero has never felt so rewarding.

A Knight’s Quest will be available this fall for $24.99. For more information, visit
