Unsouled Collector’s Edition releases May 2023

Red Art Games has announced a physical release for 2D action RPG, Unsouled. After an eShop release in April 2022, the game will now be released physically in western territories on May 26, 2023.

Two versions will be avaiable for fans, with both Nintendo Switch Standard and Collector’s Edition copies being published. The standard edition will be priced at €34.99, while the Collector’s Edition will set you back €59.99.

The Unsouled Collector’s Edition, which is limited to 1000 copies, will come packed with:

  • a copy of the game
  • 72-page artbook
  • soundtrack CD.

Pre-orders will open this Thursday, 26 January, at 5 PM CET. For the PEGI-rated version, visit the Red Art Games online store, or for ESRB-rated physical copies jump onto the Video Games Plus website.

The game was developed by Korean one-man studio Megusta Game, and published digitally by NEOWIZ. Red Art Games will handle the physical publication.

The ultra-violent game is played from a top-down perspective, featuring the intertwined story of a boy and girl brought together through a shared ability to absorb the souls of the dead. The fast-paced combat sets you on a challenging path, using unlockable abilities and chain combos.
