Stourbridge, England. Data Design Interactive – a successful video games publisher and games developer – is pleased to announce that it has secured rights to publish and develop the Nintendo Wii version of Battle Rage through their Popcorn Arcade label. Battle Rage is a third-person PC shooter and has been developed by Destan Entertainment and produced by Teyon Games. The company also announced the games full working title for the Nintendo Wii format: BATTLE RAGE: THE ROBOT WARS.Data Design Interactive managing director Stewart Green said,
“Battle Rage is already an excellent game on the PC, but we saw the potential for the title on the Wii and jumped at the chance to develop it further for Nintendo’s system. With our proven technology and the GODS engine all aspects of the original game will be effortlessly transferred over to the Wii. The combination of the high-end PC graphics, proven gameplay and addition of motion control will make for a very compelling and enjoyable experience.”
