Capcom will be bringing the Wii U and a Monster Hunter room to this years Comic Con New York.

You may have seen Dubindoh’s post last week teasing our Monster Hunter room at New York Comic Con. If not, I’ll get you up to speed: We’ve reserved a special room just for people who want to hang out and play Monster Hunter, including first Western hands-on for the upcoming Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

We’ve got some more details on the room that should get you Monster Hunter fans excited, especially if you’ll be attending NYCC.

First, I’m happy to confirm that the beautifully up-res’d Wii U version of the game will also be playable in this room! Definitely a great opportunity to see the Wii U in action with one of its best and deepest upcoming games.

Meanwhile, we’ll also be running a hunting tournament for you confident folks, with chances to win great prizes including a copy of the game (when it comes out)! Tournament times and more info after the jump.

Tournament will be held in Room B101 of the convention hall. Come by the day of the tournament to sign up. It’ll be first come, first serve, so try to drop by early!
