Publisher and Developer, Klei Entertainment is releasing Don’t Starve: Giant Edition on Wii U this spring. This information was found via IGN.com and goes on to mention the gamepad will display a map for players, which apparently Nintendo believes is a “much-requested fan feature.” Not only will the gamepad provide players with a map, individuals are also allowed to use the gamepad for off-screen play as well.
This particular port of Don’t Strive will be available to purchase in two different ways. Nintendo fans will have the option of purchasing the original console version of Don’t Starve but will also have the opportunity to buy the Reign of Giants DLC. No prices have been set for these pieces of content.
Don’t Starve originally released on April 23, 2013 and has since then, ported to a wide variety of consoles.
