We now have a clearer look into Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors-infused take on the Fire Emblem series. The new trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors was unveiled during Nintendo’s E3 2017 Spotlight, and we were shown our heroes Marth, Chrom, female Corrin, Ryoma and Xander, as they take the over-the-top Dynasty Warriors combat to a new level. The game will take place in a new kingdom alongside new characters that will join your party.
Fire Emblem Warriors will also continue to feature the series’ famed weapon triangle system, as you choose and switch between characters that will give you an advantage. So, essentially, as you probably can tell, just a Fire Emblem game without the turn-based strategy. Moving on, each character will have voiced dialogue throughout the game along with unique moves and special weapons. In addition, amiibo functionality will be included with each and every existing Fire Emblem figure compatible from the start. This will include the newly unveiled Chrom and Tiki amiibos set to release alongside the game.
Fire Emblem Warriors for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS is currently slated for release this Fall.
