The Nintendo Switch eShop has been updated and it’s time to see what’s in store. This week’s Nintendo Download highlights includes the latest EA Sports football outing, along with the puzzle-adventure stylings of COCOON, the demonic RPG-ness of Disgaea 7, and the speechless world of Silent Hope

EA Sports FC 24 boasts its most realistic-looking experience for the Switch yet. This latest entry includes a whopping 19,000+ fully licensed players, 700+ teams, and 30+ leagues. It sure sounds impressive, so fans might want to flag this one down when it releases on September 29.

Meanwhile, COCOON involves leaping between worlds .. carried as orbs in your backpack? It’s an intriguing premise that takes players into alien worlds to battle monstrous guardians. This one also comes out on September 29.

In Disgaea 7, players embark on an adventure into the demonic realm of Hinomoto. Join lazy warrior Fuji and bushido fangirl Pirilika, who team up as unlikely allies to fight against a tyrannical regime while discovering the meaning of honor and redemption! Featuring new modes and 40 character classes, this is set to be an exciting adventure when it comes out on Oct 3.

Finally, Silent Hope is an action RPG that Kirk brought to our attention in last week’s podcast. The world has been robbed of words, leaving seven wordless warriors to work together to find the reclusive King. Each hero features unqiue abilities and fighting styles as you explore the abyss to restore the kingdom.

Begin your epic SRPG adventure with Disgaea 7 on Oct. 3.
  • Silent Hope – Seven wordless warriors must work together to find the reclusive King. In this action RPG, you’ll explore the Abyss and its ever-changing dungeons with seven silent heroes, each with their own abilities and fighting styles. After each dungeon run, you’ll return with your treasures and craft better equipment to dive deeper and grow stronger, leveling up your heroes to tackle the challenging bosses lurking in the depths. Silent Hope launches on Nintendo Switch Oct. 3.
