In North America, it said retailers were offering heavy discounts on the game, which features Lara Croft, and were stocking fewer items.

 

It said that as a result revenues for the full year would be between £160m to £180m, lower than earlier forecasts.

“In an difficult North American economy, we have seen retailers restricting inventory levels and…products priced discounted above our expectations,” the company said.

We’ve seen some of this in the last couple months, and I think we’ll probably see some more unfortunately.  Not every game company can have a Holiday season like Nintendo it seems.
