Japan’s weekly gaming publication Famitsu has revealed its review score for upcoming Wii U exclusive, Mario Party 10.

Famitsu’s reviews consist of four scores, added together to give an overall number out of 40. We can happily report that Mario Party 10 scored very well, with three scores of 8 and one of 9 to reach a total of 33 out of 40.

Mario Party 10 continues the party mode tradition started in 1998 on the Nintendo 64, introducing more of the fun minigames we’ve come to expect. This time there’s a new twist on the theme, with an all-new Bowser Party mode, as well as amiibo functionality that unlocks new boards depending on which amiibo character you use.

The fun starts when Mario Party 10 is released for the Wii U on March 20 in the US and Europe, and March 12 in Japan. Let us know if you’re happy with these scores.
