GDC07: Phantom Hourglass Online Confirmed

This is just an added note on the previous article about Eiji Aonuma’s recent interview with Game Informer.  The game was confirmed for multiplayer, but it was also confirmed for online multiplayer!  Here’s the quote from the interview:

GI: Will you be able to battle over the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection?

Aonuma: Yes.

So, to recap, it was confirmed earlier for multiplayer (local wireless), but there was also confirmation about online multiplayer!
