Nintendo has surprised us with a new announcement, with Go Vacation coming to the Nintendo Switch on July 27. The game was originally released on the Wii in 2011.

In Go Vacation, a resort vacation is at your fingertips. The game features over 50 games, scattered across four unique themed worlds on Kawaaii Island, where you can enjoy a virtual family vacation. For example, you can swim with the dolphins in the Marine Resort, have a snowball fight in the Snow Resort, go kayaking in the Mountain Resort, or race cars in the City Resort.

The game was created by Bandai Namco, and brings a variety of cooperative and competitive games, featuring solo or multiplayer modes. Up to four players can join in on a single Switch, with several play options. You can use motion controls to play tennis or throw snowballs, for instance.

There’s more to Go Vacation than resort-style games. Players can explore the island on foot or via other more exciting means – like horseback or snowmobile. There are collectibles and challenges to keep you busy, plus you can level up and customize your character. You can even decorate your own villa, eat at the local food trucks, or snap in-game photos of the animals hiding in the resort. You can spot a few of these critters in the trailer below. The game also promises new incentives to keep you coming back to the resort for more fun.
