Guitar Hero III named best music game by 1up

Celebrating the best titles of the year, the 1UP Awards allow the fans and community to vote for their favorite games in over a dozen categories.
Released in October of 2007, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock was the #1 title in dollars for the calendar year worldwide, according to The NPD Group, Charttrack and Gfk. In the United States, the game became the #1 best-selling video game in units and dollars of all time in a single calendar year.
