After being absent for quite some time, Activision will soon bring the Guitar Hero franchise back to consoles, along with a slightly diverse set of tunes.
According to Rolling Stone, Activision has released an initial list of songs that are scheduled to be playable in the latest version of Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero Live. Here are the tracks:

- Ed Sheeran – “Sing”
- Fall Out Boy – “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)”

- The Lumineers – “Ho Hey”

- Pierce the Veil – “King for a Day (feat. Kellin Quinn)”
- The Rolling Stones – “Paint it Black”

- The War on Drugs – “Under the Pressure”

Guitar Hero Live is scheduled to release some time in 2015 and will debut the franchises newest guitar, which aims to be more accessible to players and possesses several nuances when compared to previous iterations in the series.
