Iwata Asks: New Super Mario Bros. U – DLC confirmed
Tezuka: Yes. We also are planning additional courses.
Iwata: As with New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the Nintendo 3DS, you’re talking about the additional courses.
Tezuka: Yes. We’re trying to think of ways of play that are different from New Super Mario Bros. 2, but we haven’t made anything yet! (laughs)
Iwata: Right, rather than distributing content that’s premade at a later date, you’re going to start working on it now.
Iwamoto: Yes. The mechanism for adding courses is already there, so please stand by for an update on what they’ll be like.

Does anyone else enjoy those Iwata Asks as much as I do? It’s really cool to see how much they strive to make a good game. How to make it different, yet keep the core the same. I really do enjoy reading about what those guys are up to… very cool.

@Hitokiri_Ace Yeah, I love them too! As far as companies go, Nintendo is very open when it comes to discussing how their games and systems are developed. It’s great getting to see the developers and engineers behind it too and seeing a little bit of their personality come through in the interviews.
