Last week Nintendo released the “Instant Play Family Premium Set” in Japan. This set included a 32GB Wii U, a GamePad, a MotionPlus Wiimote, a 30-day code for Wii Karaoke U,  Wii Party U and New Super Mario Bros. U pre-loaded onto the console, all for 32,800 yen. ($332)

This new bundle, among other bundles, have ballooned this past weeks Japanese sales of the Wii U  to 38,802 units sold, compared to 2,000 the previous week.

There has also been reports that the Mario and Luigi bundles have sold out at North American Target and GameStop stores. This information can not be confirmed.
