A trailer for those who seek to find...

We’ve seen the trailer for the new Jumanji movie, and I have to say it looks pretty good. It’s not coming out until Christmas, but you won’t have to wait that long to get into the Jumanji action. Outright Games has announced they’re bumping the release date of Jumanji: The Video Game up a week to November 8th, and they’ve released the above gameplay video to celebrate.

The video reveals a lot of the action, which seems to center around punching, kicking, and running away from hippos. More specifically…

Only you and three teammates can recover the JEWELS and save Jumanji. So get online, gather friends for split-screen play, or go alone with AI companions. There’s an army of evil marauders to take on, deadly beasts and traps to dodge, and cool customizations to unlock. And with heroes Dr. Bravestone, Ruby, Mouse, and Prof. Oberon as your avatars, you know you’ve got the unique abilities – and hilarious failings – to save the day!

The game features beautiful but deadly mountain, city and jungle environments that are new to the world of Jumanji, and will allow players to unlock new outfits and weapon styles as they play through.

Jumanji: The Video Game is now available to pre-order for $39.99 through various retailers. For more information and store links, visit outrightgames.com.
