Professor Layton’s legacy will continue in a new game featuring his daughter, with Level 5’s announcement of Lady Layton for 3DS and mobile devices.

Lady Layton: The Conspiracy of King Millionaire is a new episode in the Professor Layton series, this time following the adventures of Professor Layton’s daughter, Catriel.

The puzzle game is set for a spring 2017 release in Japan, with Western release details yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, check out the first Lady Layton trailer below to see it in action, and let us know your thoughts on this announcement.
