Mysterious Stars 3D: Fairy Tale is much like Mysterious Stars 3D: Road to Idol, a slower paced game with not much of a storyline to back it up.

The story here centers on Ann, a girl dressed in rags, who lives in the attic of her mean stepmother’s home. Sound like any other fairy tale you know? Once again comes the aid of the Star God to better Ann’s life, and who better to assist than the player with power to connect the stars to create objects. Now the game does end up telling its own original story, but after stage sixteen it begins to feel forced and kind of stretched out.

Also, after completing some of the later stages, an error would cause the game to close. Luckily before such an occurrence, the game does autosave.
