Minecraft Clone Titled U Craft Coming to Wii U
There’s been news circulating over the last few days about an unknown Minecraft clone heading to the Wii U. The secret developers behind the title have now been revealed as Nexis Games.
If you’re not familiar with the name, Nexis Games are relatively new to Nintendo themselves, having released its first Wii U title, BrickBlast U!, just a few months ago. They’re also working on another title called Dance of the Damned.
U Craft is an interesting concept, and it was probably just a matter of time before someone made the leap. Microsoft now owns the Minecraft name, making it extremely unlikely that the real thing will make its way to any of Nintendo’s platforms.
Even more interesting is the news that Nexus Games aim to release U Craft before Christmas, so fans eager to try the game won’t have to wait too long.
Check out a screenshot below to see a shot from the game. Apparently more screens will be released leading up to the game’s launch, so stay tuned. In the meantime, let us know in the comments section if you like the sound of this clone.

it looks good but I just wish Nintendo would get the license to make a port for the Wii U themselves 😠they’d do such a great job and every minecraft fan would want a wii u, just imagine not needing to open any menu to check you inventory and stuff. I just know the Wii U is the perfect platform for Minecraft. it just is.
