During last week’s Wii U Preview Event it was announced that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is going to be released for the Wii U and the 3DS.  If Monster Hunter Tri was any indication of what Capcom in capable of creating with Nintendo hardware no matter the specs, then Ultimate should be a treat for Nintendo fans.  Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii was an epic adventure and almost every aspect of the game reflected as such.  The Wii U version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will feature online multiplayer, while the 3DS version will not include online play.  You will be able to share your save between the console and handheld versions of the game.  This is a feature that will allow gamers to take their console experience with them on the go.  So Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will not only monopolize your time at home but also while you are out and about.  I can already imagine the possible uses for the GamePad while playing Monster Hunter.  Inventory management, maps, crafting, identifying monsters and many more come to mind.  There have not been many details revealed for this new entry in the Monster Hunter franchise but we will provide updates as more news becomes available.
