Featuring Bow, Heavy Bowgun, Light Bowgun, Insect Glaive, and Charge Axe

Capcom has released five new Monster Hunter XX – or Double Cross – trailers to introduce the game’s new ‘Brave Style’ hunting method.

Brave Style uses continuous attacks and includes a Brave Gauge that fills as you fight. When the gauge is full, you can activate a Brave State, unleashing a more powerful attack and special techniques. You’ll need to continuously land attacks to keep your Brave Gauge from fully depleting.

Monster Hunter XX was announced during a Japanese Nintendo Direct in October, and will be released in Japan on the 3DS on 18 March 2017. There’s no word on a western release at this time.
