For those of you who are not aware, I am a huge sports fan. Basketball, Football, Hockey, Soccer (Wooo! World Cup) you name it I play it or watch it. Two games I have been playing the longest (besides Mario and Sonic) are NBA Live and Madden. The above image appeared on the official NBA Live facebook page asking the question, “What is Elite?” In a full page spread on NBA Live. The Official X-Box magazine confirms the name change from Live to Elite. I’m not sure how I feel about the name change. To me this change of name feels the same as changing Madden to Michals or changing EA sports “its in the game” to EA Sports “Take over the world. (I know that’s not going to happen)
