New update brings stages and Mii costumes to Super Smash Bros.
Several new features have been added to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, according the games most recent update.
Previously seen in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Pirate Ship, has been added to the variety of stages found within the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. Keep in mind, this stage is exclusive to the Wii U version of the video game and happens to be anything but free. Individuals who wish to purchase this stage, can do so for $1.99 (USD). Nintendo has also released a new stage which is to feature Super Mario Maker. This stage is available for purchase on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, and can be downloaded for $2.49 (USD), respectively. If you would like to own this particular stage for both Nintendo platforms, you can download them for $3.49 (USD).
If stages aren’t exactly your thing, Nintendo has also released the fourth wave of Mii costumes for Super Smash Bros. Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Mii Fighter Costume Bundle #4 will include seven costumes and six pieces of headgear. This bundle pack can be purchased for $5.25 (USD), respectively, or $8.05 for both platforms.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U released on Nov. 21, 2014 and has sold more than 3.8 million units since launch. The Nintendo 3DS version of the video game launched prior to its Wii U counterpart and released on Oct. 3, 2014.
