As another week begins it’s time to think ahead to the next round of eShop releases due to hit your Wii U and 3DS this Thursday in Europe. This week sees quite the mixed bag, with the latest DS Virtual Console release, another SEGA classic remastered in 3D, a Minecraft-inspired release, and plenty of discounts to boot.

Check out the full list below and let us know which games will be downloading their way into your systems this week.

Wii U eShop

  • The Bridge (The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, €9.99 / £8.99) – this critically-acclaimed puzzle game is described as Isaac Newton meets M.C. Escher. This 2D logic puzzler with an eye-catching black and white visual design features 48 thought-provoking puzzles that challenge your perception of gravity and physics, and could very well be worth a look – look out for our review soon.
  • ZaciSa: Defense of the Crayon Dimensions! (ZeNfA Productions, €1.49 / £1.14 until 27th August, then €2.99 / £2.29) – this budget title is a 2D tower defense game, which was released in the US last year. This version benefits from extra content (also due to hit the US in the form of an update), including additional maps, game modes, weapons, enemies, and the inclusion of an online leaderboard. We quite enjoyed the game in short bursts upon US release, as you can read in our ZaciSa review.

Wii U Virtual Console

  • Wario: Master of Disguise (Nintendo, €9.99 / £8.99) – this quirky game – par for the course from our friend Wario really – hit the DS originally in 2007 as a combination of platformer and mini-games. Here Wario plays the thief (and other characters) in TV episodes after he becomes jealous of a TV character and creates a device allowing him to enter his television.
