Happy 4th of July! The latest Nintendo Download has several new games to keep you entertained for Independence Day. First up, SNES favorite Pilotwings is now available for the Wii U Virtual Console. Up next, Sonic Drift 2 for the 3DS Virtual Console is sure to have fans of the Game Gear original excited. There are also a couple eShop sales to check out including Mighty Switch Force! (3DS) and Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition (Wii U).

I’m excited to see more and more Virtual Console games released each week but I really hope the frequency of releases goes up. Nintendo would be wise to release several new VC games per week especially when there are gaps between big game release dates. Check out the full press release below for all the details.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos.
