It’s time for another round of releases for the Wii U and 3DS as Nintendo’s latest line-up for Europe gets ready to hit the eShop this Thursday.

This week we’ll be treated with a major Wii U release (hint: it’s Bayonetta 2!), plus plenty of tempting games, discounts and Virtual Console releases.

Check out the full list below and let us know which games will end up on your systems this week.

Wii U Retail Downloads

  • Bayonetta 2 (Nintendo, €49.99 / £39.99, or €29.99 / £24.99 if Bayonetta is downloaded on the same Wii U) – Platinum Games elaborate and flashy Wii U exclusive is here at last. With combat, humor and giant battles bigger and better than the original, all topped with stunning visuals, we highly recommended this in our Bayonetta 2 review. Available from 24th October.
  • Bayonetta (Nintendo, €29.99 / £24.99, or €9.99 / £9.99 if Bayonetta 2 is downloaded on the same Wii U) – the cult classic comes to the Wii U in this port that throws in some exclusive Nintendo-themed outfits and GamePad controls. Also available from 24th October.
  • Just Dance 2015 (Ubisoft, Price TBC) – featuring 40 tracks of contemporary pop to dance your way through, such as Katy Perry, Avicii, Maroon 5 and One Direction.

  • My Style Studio: Hair Salon (Cypronia, €4.99 / £4.49) – a simulator game of sorts, teaching aspiring hair stylists all about curling, straightening, coloring and cutting.

Wii U Virtual Console

  • Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest (Nintendo, €7.99 / £5.49) – Rare’s second DK entry for the SNES was originally released in 1995 and this time Diddy Kong is the central character. He teams up with pony-tailed Dixie Kong on a quest to rescue DK from Kaptain K. Rool. With more of the brilliant visuals, music and gameplay we enjoyed with the original outing, this is sure to please fans and newcomers alike as something special.
  • Namco Museum – this Game Boy Advance title was released in 2001 but delivers five retro arcade games from the late 1970s/early 1980s, complete with their original visuals. You’ll find Ms. Pac-Man, Galaxian, Galaga, Pole Position and Dig Dug intact here, plus some fun customization options.
