At the end of this month, Nintendo will be stopping support for your old school consoles. (NES, SNES, N64,  Gameboy, and Gameboy Pocket lines in the future.  If you have one of these systems you got to take care of them.  If they break there is no help for you. Well at least not from Nintendo.
