Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo Has Shipped Nationwide

The action-adventure side-scrolling platformer brawler is exclusive to Wii.

October 20, 2009 – SANTA CLARA, Calif., – Leading video games publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced that Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is now available exclusively for Wii. Dragon Ball fans can relive the early adventures of Goku as he explores the world, meets life-long companions and friends, and increases his martial arts power in this latest action-adventure side-scrolling brawler.

In Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo, players assume the role of an adolescent Goku as he races against the Red Ribbon Army to collect all seven of the coveted Dragon Balls which, when collected, grant a single ultimate wish. Fans of the series will delight in reliving the crucial moments in Goku’s adventures in Adventure Mode, which take place between the Red Ribbon encounters to the pivotal King Piccolo conflict, including Goku’s journey to Korin Tower and his very first World Martial Arts Tournament.

The previous two games were released for the PSP and lack some of the features of Eldar Saga such as online play. The game is an action-RPG similar to games such as Children of Mana and the Monster Hunter series. Black Classic Controller Pro to launch in Europe

The Wii console is about to get an exciting new look as it launches across Europe in sleek black.

The black Wii will be available to buy in UK and Republic of Ireland from 6 November and mainland Europe on 20 November, and will come as a “Limited Edition” bundled with a Wii Remote, Wii MotionPlus and Nunchuk – all in black – as well as the exhilarating new Wii Sports Resort game and the original Wii Sports. The Wii Sports Resort black bundle will offer a total of 15 different sports to enjoy.

Also launching in Europe as part of the black range of accessories will be the new black Classic Controller Pro – an enhanced version of the Classic Controller. Additional black Wii Remote controllers, Wii MotionPlus accessories and Nunchuk controllers will also be available to purchase separately across Europe from November 20th onwards.
