For those who signed up for the Playtonic Games newsletter, the company comprised of former Rare employees announced today that they will be starting their kickstarter campaign for Project Ukulele on May 1st. For those unaware, Project Ukulele is a game set to be the spiritual successor to the popular Banjo and Kazooie series of games that were originally released on the Nintendo 64 by Rare. During a developer’s conference at EGX Rezzed, Playtonic Games hinted that the game could see a Wii U release if enough donations and fan requests are received. It would be a shame if a game like this missed out on making it onto the Wii U eShop, so be sure to voice your opinion when the kickstarter becomes live.
