Happy Friday! As another week draws to a close we reflect over the games we’re obsessed with at the moment. With so many games to choose from, how does the Pure Nintendo team decide what to play? We always have a gaming to-do list on the go, and here’s our collection this week.
Are you looking for gaming inspiration this weekend? Check out our playlist below and let us know which games are on your own playlist right now.

- Star Fox Zero (Wii U): Katelyn and I played this a lot last weekend and it was a lot of fun. We’ve already beaten the game but there is still plenty to unlock and scores to beat :)
James
- Miitomo (mobile): This game has been opened daily on my phone.
- Mario Kart 8 (Wii U): This past weekend my brother-in-law visited and challenged me to some Mario Kart 8 action. I won.
- New Mario Brothers U (WIi U): During his visit, with his girlfriend, we looked for a fun game that four of us could play together. This game was the right pick with hours of fun.
Trevor
- Epic Dumpster Bear (Wii U eShop): I hope to have a review for this title posted early next week, so please keep an eye out for it. It’s turning into one of those ‘so bad it’s good’ games.
- Lovely Planet (Wii U eShop): – You can learn more by reading my PN review.
- Runbow (Wii U eShop): – Had a lot of fun playing this with a group of friends recently! I plan to post a small impression piece on the new DLC soon.
Jemma
- Fire Emblem: Awakenings (3DS): Not a lot of time for my adventure with Chrom this week, but I did finish chapter 13.
- Bravely Second (3DS): This has been my main focus this week, and I’m thoroughly enjoying this epic game. I love the way it hearkens to 90s-style RPGs as well as brings something new to the genre. I’ll have a review up very soon so watch out for the full story!
- Miitomo (mobile): I’m pretty impressed with Nintendo’s first mobile game, it’s simple but highly addictive!

I don’t have too much free time so I just got to Kakariko Village: Twilight, So not too far. Taday I spend some time playing Pokken tournament with my son. It is not a bad game although I think I like what my son thought the game was going to be like.
