After an Easter break, this full week felt longer than usual! We welcome the weekend with open arms, but not before we reflect over the games we’re into right now.

Are you looking for gaming inspiration this weekend? Check out our playlist below and let us know which games are on your own playlist right now.

  • Splatoon (Wii U): My niece Aubrey stayed the night this week and we played some good ole Splatoon. She really enjoys the game but I think she had a hard time with online matches. Her skills are not quite as awesome as mine… Yet.
  • Twilight Princess HD (Wii U): We finally collected all of the bottles, big quiver and bomb bags. On our search for missing items we also found all of the sky characters. Now it’s time to head to the sky temple and help those hideous (but very helpful) Ooccoo.
  • Pixel Paint (Wii U): I’ve been working on creating a pixel Pokemon piece. I’m trying to make a collage type thing, similar to the one I made below. That’s one of my favorite pieces that I’ve done so far, I call it “Retro N”. Hopefully my Pokemon one will be as cool as this! When it’s done I’ll be sure to share :)pixel-paint-retro-n-kaelyn
  • Twilight Princess Picross (3DS My Nintendo reward): I love a good Picross game and I love The Legend of Zelda, so you can imagine how hyped I was to play this. It’s been pretty fun so far. The puzzles keep getting bigger and more challenging which is good. You can also use your finished puzzles as stamps in mii verse. If you’re a fan of Picross and LoZ, I highly recommend it!

  • Super Mario 3D Land (3DS): I’ve been going through some backlog games and while I’ve 100%’d 3D Land before, I find myself coming back to it again and again.
  • Metroid Zero Mission (Wii U): Been playing through this more and I’m loving it.  I never played it when it first came out on the GBA.  I did play through Fusion and loved that one and Zero Mission has been excellent as well.

  • Fire Emblem: Awakenings (3DS): Not a lot of game time this week sadly but there was some mandatory progression with Fire Emblem since I want to wrap up before Fates is released Down Under next month. Some time has passed in the game, I’m married now and just started chapter 12. I’ve also finished the fourth side quest.
  • Chasing Dead (Wii U): Watch out for my upcoming review of this FPS zombie sci-fi shooter.
