The new album from video game remix label GameChops features 11 remixes from games likes Yoshi’s Island, Mario Kart, Super Mario Galaxy, and the original Yoshi for NES. The album spans genres from upbeat house music, to futuristic EDM hiphop featuring the likes of Mega Ran. Year of the Yoshi has been in production since 2012.

GameChops is the world’s largest label dedicated to video game remix albums, generating 35 releases in just two years. The Year of the Yoshi artist roster is equally impressive, featuring game music heavyweights Mega Ran and Dj CUTMAN, alongside Internet sensations Ben Briggs, Grimecraft, ABSRDST, and Kubbi. Year of the Yoshi was directed by multimedia producer Kevin Villecco.
