Red Faction Is Coming Back

I never played Red Faction 2, but I always remember how the first one allowed you to destroy walls and other obstacles. It was so cool to blow through walls and create tunnels. Anyway, THQ is working on a sequel to the franchise. Here is the quote from IGN:

When asked to list the six key franchises would be the focus of THQ’s 2008 fiscal year, Farrell stated: “Saints Row, Stuntman, which will be released this year, Juiced, which is a sequel to the product we launched a couple years ago, Destroy All Humans, MX, and my favorite, Red Faction.”

Sounds like THQ is beefing up their lineup. Let’s hope the new Red Faction is a sequel worthy of the name.
