Nintendo of America have shared via Twitter that company president Reggie Fils-Aime makes an appearance in recently released film, Video Games: The Movie.

The feature-length documentary, from executive producer Zach Braff, looks to chart the meteoric rise of the video game industry, looking at its progression from a simple pastime to today’s multi-billion dollar industry.

Other participants in the film include Gears of War co-creator Cliff Bleszinksi, Earthworm Jim creator Doug Tennapel, Resident Evil creator Hiroyoki Kobayashi, Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, and Deus Ex visionary Warren Spector.

The film is narrated by Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings’ Samwise Gamgee) and hit cinemas earlier this month across the United States and Canada, soon to reach further shores such as the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.
